Who we are
(and why we’re doing it)

We are a small team of engineers focused on strengthening Australia’s access to space; our work centres on launch vehicles and their supporting propulsion systems; We are focused on developing the critical steps that move ideas from ground, to validation through flight.

The objective is simple; advance national launch capability, develop space propulsion technologies, and make them dependable to operate, store, and support.

We move fast, test faster, and keep what works; closing the loop with data at the core of decisions. From day one we design for flight, instrument thoroughly, and iterate on the stand; moving us closer each time to a more successful launch. What survives goes to the range, with goals that are pivotal, performance that is predicable, and readiness that can be relied upon.

We build as much as we can here, source what we cannot, and keep the supply chain short, known, and accountable. The aim is capability that integrates cleanly, operates safely, and scales with demand

Our Achievements

Over the course of a mere 4 months, from initial conception till now, Antares has accelerated from TRL-3 to TRL-6; going from a concept, to a full scale, field tested and static fired hybrid rocket motor.

Not only did we design, manufacture and test our own motor, but also our own test stand, ground support equipment, and data acquisition package.

We’re believers in trial by fire (literally), and learning through short, iterative prototyping runs, all whilst making decisions backed by sound engineering and years of experience.

We’re here to disrupt, deliver and outperform, all whilst doing it faster than the rest.
